In the Between, the sun never rises. Everything is illuminated by aspects of glowing materials, and Selina is one of many who lights up the otherwise dark world. With her firefly followers in tow, Selina brightens areas that aren't well lit by other plants or creatures, because of course, not everything glows in this peculiar world. 

 

The fireflies that follow Selina respond to her so effortlessly it is almost as though they are a part of her. They follow her every step, transform into shapes she desires, and respond to the ebb and flow of her mood and energy. When Selina has wandered far from home, she sees these hundreds of loyal followers as her friends and will shape them into animals to play with. 

 

Selina is a calm soul, but she can be a bit skittish. She's never truly seen pure darkness before and fears what lies outside of her fireflies' light. Because of this, she is very careful to protect her friends, as she never wants to experience what it's like to no longer be able to navigate with them. Within her family, she is certainly a quiet one who responds with laughter or other expressions more than with words. There is nothing to not like about her; unless of course you are bothered by her buzzing followers.
