The wildlife of the Between is abundant if you look closely. Lucien took an interest in them from the start, with a focus on reptiles, and in case you're wondering - yes, they glow too.

 

Lucien spends his days with his wild friends, who aren't wild at all in his presence. He has a way of calming even the shyest of critters and is often seen with animals trailing along behind him or taking a ride on his back. He's a big softy who does everything he can to learn about them and, therefore, find ways to make their lives better. Of course in the Between, they already have it pretty easy since nothing interferes with their natural ecosystem, but Lucien does enjoy building little shelters and helping them find food when he has the time.

 

When he's not busy with animals, Lucien loves to play with his siblings. He's got such a gentle, friendly, and happy personality that it's quite contagious. He is a bit on the quieter side, but when he's in the company of those he knows, he can get loud and silly. While he loves his life in the Between, he does hope to split his time between there and the "normal" world so he can learn about more and more animals - they mean the world to him, and he knows there are a lot of them out there to meet!
